Well, the last journey I had with my friends was by car. The place I went to was Beidaihe. The city is around 280 kilometers away from Beijing. It is most famous for its sea, where a resort town is located. The town has some specialties and during the night time, it looks the best. The entire city is well decorated and illuminated. Another amazing feature of the city is the musical fountain synchronized with music.

My friends and I had a really good time there. On the first day we arrived, we were so starved and we immediately went to a restaurant for meal. The restaurant featured fresh seafood, such as shrimps and crabs. The seafood tasted so well and the price was not high. We spent only 300 yuan for six persons. The next day we woke up early and went to the seaside to watch the sun rise. The sun rises slowly from the sea level and the whole sky was gradually illuminated, a spectacular scenery that is hard to forget. The seafood and the beautiful sunrise left me with some deep impressions.

There are two main reasons that I chose to go to Beidaihe by car. First, it was not far from our university, meaning car is more convenient than the train and plane. We could choose the start time on our own by car and there was no need to worry that the car would not wait for us. Besides, there are six people including me on this journey, which is particularly suitable for a car travel. Second, it is very convenient for us to take around Beidahe with a car. With less time spent on waiting for taxies in Beidaihe, we could leave more time for sightseeing or other activities.
